I hope that you can find something helpful here. I don’t believe that I have anything particularly innovative to offer. However, I’ve been through quite a bit in both my own level of fitness and the type of training I use. I have found some methods and theories that are working well for me. This blog is intended to be my own personal journal and accountability method for using the tools that I’ve discovered. If I can be a help to anyone else it’s a bonus. Thanks and enjoy!

- I am a husband and father of two. My interest in fitness is very practical. First, I want to be an example to my family of a balanced commitment to fitness. Secondly, in addition to my work in Mental Health Care, I work part time as an EMT/Firefighter. The number of health related deaths amongst First Responders is staggering and it would be irresponsible to not maintain a higher level of fitness. Finally, I want to be able to do all of the things that I once believed that I would never be able to do. Basically, it’s all about the challenge.
